William Karlins Award

I’m so happy to share with you that I just received the 2007 M. William Karlins Award in music composition at Northwestern University School of Music for my piano piece Vestiges. This is a large scale piano work, strongly influenced by the the compositional attitudes and ideas of spectral music, process-driven formal developments, and occasional Messianesque harmonic structures.
